Terms and Conditions of Hire
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Stance Hire (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking, the client (“you”, “the Hirer”) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Booking & Safety Deposit
1.1 A refundable safety deposit is required to secure all bookings.
1.2 The safety deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking.
1.3 The safety deposit will be refunded after the hire period, subject to no damage, excessive cleaning, misconduct, or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
1.4 The Company reserves the right to deduct all or part of the safety deposit to cover cleaning, repairs, damage, delays, or additional costs incurred.
2. Payment
2.1 Full payment for the booking must be made by the date specified by the Company.
2.2 Failure to make payment on time may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
3. Use of Vehicles
3.1 No food or drinks of any kind are permitted in the vehicle, including but not limited to alcohol, soft drinks, hot drinks, or snacks.
3.2 Smoking, vaping, or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
3.3 Any breach of this clause may result in immediate termination of the hire without refund and/or deductions from the safety deposit.
4. Behaviour & Safety
4.1 The Hirer and all passengers must behave in a safe, respectful, and lawful manner at all times.
4.2 The Company reserves the right to terminate the hire immediately if passenger behaviour is deemed unsafe, abusive, intoxicated, or inappropriate.
4.3 No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
5. Cancellations & Right to Refuse Service
5.1 The Company reserves the right to cancel or refuse any booking at its sole discretion, at any time, for reasons including but not limited to safety, vehicle availability, misconduct, or operational issues.
5.2 Where a booking is cancelled by the Company, liability shall be limited to a refund of monies paid, excluding any non-refundable deposits unless otherwise agreed.
5.3 The Company shall not be liable for any consequential losses, expenses, or inconvenience arising from cancellation.
6. Flight Delays & Airport Transfers
6.1 The Company is not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, diversions, missed connections, or airline schedule changes.
6.2 Any additional waiting time or extended hire caused by flight delays may incur additional charges.
6.3 The Hirer is responsible for providing accurate flight details at the time of booking.
7. Delays & Timings
7.1 The Company will make reasonable efforts to adhere to agreed timings; however, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control.
7.2 No refunds will be given for delays outside the Company’s control.
8. Damage & Cleaning
8.1 The Hirer is fully responsible for any damage, soiling, spillages, or excessive cleaning required during or after the hire.
8.2 Repair and cleaning costs may be deducted from the safety deposit or charged separately if costs exceed the deposit amount.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay unless caused by proven negligence on the part of the Company.
9.2 The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed events or financial losses.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Acceptance
11.1 By making a booking, the Hirer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
